Li'l Brother 03:03
Pick up the phone You fucking aren't alone There's no use living on the streets If you come home, you can sleep and rest an eat We want you back C-c-c-call me back We won't judge you any more We feel the lack, won't you come walking through the door CHORUS: Li'l Brother won't you come home Li'l Brother don't you care Li'l Brother don't you see There's naught for you out there You selfish sick You fucking make me sick Mom is pulling out her hair Make it quick, cause you could be anywhere CHORUS CHORUS

You don't fight fair, no You don't fight fair, no I don't want to think about it You don't want to know about it You don't want to talk about it I don't want to hear about it PRECHORUS: We're coming down now, baby, down now We're coming down onto the sheets We're coming up now, baby, up now We're coming up so feel the heat CHORUS: Every time I close my eyes I see your shadow Every night I miss your perfume on my sheets Every time I close my eyes I wish that there was no tomorrow But tomorrow, tomorrow, it repeats You can't come here, no You can't come here, no I don't want to know about it You don't want to think about it You don't want to hear about it I don't want to talk about it PRECHORUS CHORUS CHORUS CHORUS

My favourite colour is red It's the splash of the blood of my enemies Spilled from a hole in their head They'll soon be dead, by my hand How did it come to this so quickly? My favourite colour is green It's the field I got to to lie in and try to forget all their screams It seems I'm more affected than I used to be My favourite colour is blue It's the sea that I'll sail on to take me to places to plunder anew It's all I knew, growing up, I was raised on nothing but violence My favourite colour is black It's the hole where there should be a conscience Instead there's a notable lack Perhaps the fact that I notice its absence means something

Spaceman 04:53
On a cold and empty moon Lonely, so lonely Through a distant wormhole A cosmic separation, reduced improbably As the radiation fades A world in celebration, a live mythology CHORUS: A spaceman came to us in spandex The spaceman taught us how to play The spaceman sang for us, and shared with us his love But the spaceman, the spaceman couldn't stay Don't sweat it baby Thinking 'bout what could have been There's no knowing Don't cry baby This is how it's got to be I'm going CHORUS So where's your hero now? Where's your hero now? You need to carve your own path You're your hero now He showed up when I was nineteen With an old guitar on his back He showed me how to rock and roll, and I ain't never looking back Then he left the country, living off powder and milk Dressing up as a pretty boy in his finest silk Then he mellowed out, where is he now? He's gone, but his legacy still lives on So where's your hero now? Where's your hero now? You need to carve your own path You're your hero now CHORUS CHORUS

Secrets 01:34
6.
When we talked, we talked for hours Until we'd said all to be said And when we walked, we walked through flowers Through the lingering of their scent CHORUS: When all to come's been said and done I'd miss your company So while outgunned, and while outdone I won't give up on me There was a time I'd sing forever But then the darkness stole the sun I won't stop it all, not now or ever There's races still to run CHORUS CHORUS CHORUS
7.
You've come to a decision, after who knows how long You've compromised opinions, a solution's been agreed upon One thing you didn't realize, didn't take into account A person always present, and one you can't discount (Um, could I just play devil's advocate for a moment?) In every disagreement, no matter how banal No matter my opinion, I'll interrupt them all Everyone and everywhere, decisions great and small I'm representing Lucifer, and we will bring your fall Cause I speak to the devil and he speaks to me And he really can't stand it when people agree We made a deal to spare me from eternal misery So I'll be here to ruin your arguments relentlessly

Jimmy's got to work late Friday evenings He's up for a promotion, don't you know Sam has got to watch the kids till Monday and Laura's running late for Tae Kwon Do Sarah's sticking to an early bedtime She's revising for accountancy exams Lizzie's busy, Nick is sick And Annabelle and Steve have other plans So I call my imaginary friends, they're never busy like the real ones Because the reals ones, they don't want to play any more Anthony's in training for the circus He'll teach me how to tightrope walk one day Mustafa runs a Middle-Eastern country He won't talk to Clare who's in the CIA Molly is a private funded astronaut She hoped to be the first woman on Mars Felix, who's originally from Venus Says there's nothing much to see among the stars That's why I call my imaginary friends, they're more exciting than the real ones Because the real ones don't want to have fun any more Sam says that they'll find a babysitter 'cause they'd like to meet Mustafa for a chat Laura wants to be a heavier hitter So she's interested in Molly's training plan Clare seems somewhat interested in Sarah They could use her numerate skills across the pond Annabelle and Steve's first plans have cancelled And they want me to respond But I call my imaginary friends, they don't get jealous of my real ones Oh the real ones, who needs them anymore. I call my imaginary friends, they're never busy like the real ones Because the reals ones, they don't want to play any more I call my imaginary friends, they're more exciting than the real ones Because the real ones don't want to have fun any more

Object permanence is the understanding that even when you can't see something, it is still there. Sometimes I forget that even when I can't see your smile, it is still there
10.
I'm living backwards in a forwards world A haze of confusing shapes and swirls I tried to write a song to share my loneliness and fear But when I play I-V-vi-IV, that's not what you hear I'm living backwards, moving backwards through time I'm living backwards, don't you see I'm living backwards, moving backwards through time I'm living backwards, only me

Blood Drive 02:05
I know what you're thinking - what's a creature of the night doing living in a beach side town? Well, vampires can like going to the seaside too - some of us at least. Perhaps un-intuitively, the biggest thing getting in the way of being a functioning member of a beach-side community isn't the daylight issue - nah, you'd be surprised how vibrant the city can be at night. We sleep in the day, and surf in the evening, not unlike the students. Our diet on the other hand, there's the real issue. CHORUS: I'm a summer vampire (I'm thirsty for blood) I tried hunting livestock (But it's never enough) And down at the hospital all of their stuff's 'reserved for patients' I need a fix I need it quick I haven't fed for so long I'm anemic Now the summer vampire's hungry for you, you, you So sorry about that - I can get a bit carried away when I'm hungry, and I am *so hungry*. You know how it is - old habits die hard, and we're really trying to move away from that whole 'murder humans in a back alley and drain their blood' thing. But, alternative methods don't always give us the results we require, and the authorities don't notice the occasional person going missing, especially when they've got no connections and whatnot. CHORUS

It was spring when I saw her last, with her future still up in the air She watched on as I pulled away with a thousand mile stare She said 'You can't go, you can't go, tell me you won't go' She said 'I need you, I need you, at least I want you' I know I've been on the road too long when the faces all look the same At heart I'm a wanderer so I can hardly take the blame They say 'You can't go, you can't go, tell me you won't go' They say 'I need you, I need you, at least I want you' I met a girl in a country town, we began to hit it off I've known more than I can count, but I'd never before known the touch of love She said 'You can't go, you can't go, tell me you won't go' I said 'I won't go, I won't go, because I can't go' I'd found the impossible, I was prepared to settle down Then she said 'it's over', it was time for her to skip town I said 'You can't go, you can't go, tell me you won't go' I said 'I need you, I need you, I think I love you'

Sinful 03:59
The first to raise its head and beckon glimmers Its wake depicts a vault, a key, a crown A crash! The creature, weak and feeble Struggling under weight of gold Inviting you, nay, begging, knock it down The next stands tall, it dons the crown and smiles A radiant beauty emanating forth The scene of all you wish you had beguiles And drives a jealous need to prove your worth A haze of thickened, acrid fog surrounds you Filling eyes and ears, and slows your path To rest, perchance to sleep, temptation Naught to stop you stopping here Unwind, let others face the aftermath Angry at your lack of will, the smog clears The fourth is walking slowly in your way Jostling and taunting you, the beast sneers Adequately prepped to draw your rage Now a shifting form appears before you Its body twists to match what flesh desires Supple limbs and silken skin Surprising yet enticing now That stills the heart and kindles carnal fires The room awash with pleasant scents of feating A calling to imbibe unto excess Your stomach growls, with your control releasing But, you resist cementing your success The villains beat, no vice has overcome you Some close, but no! Despite how hard they tried You sit upon your twisted throne Surrounded by your fallen foes And in your beating heart you foster pride
